About this vintage design furniture
A boomerang writing desk in teak. Designed by Louis van Teeffelen between 1960 and 1963 and produced by Wébé in Netherlands. The desk has three drawers and a compartment with a flap as well as a retractable shelf. At the back of the desk you can find a large compartment to store binders or books. The writing desk is in a very good original condition, showing traces of use normal for the age.

About the designer
Louis VAN TEEFFELEN
Wim Rietveld Van Teeffelen, better known as Louis van Teeffelen, was a Dutch designer who was born in 1921 and died in 1972. He studied at the Rotterdam Academy of Fine Arts and began his career as a furniture designer in the 1950s.
