About this vintage design furniture
Vintage first edition of lacquered steel and thick glass coffee table model Alanda designed by Paolo Piva for B&B. Italy late 1970s. This well known iconic table mounts the original glass produced by the factory Fontana (signature in the last image). Very rare with this rectangular shape and its original condition. Some scratches and loss of lacquer on the steel. Glass with no defects.

About the designer
Paolo PIVA
Paolo Piva was born in 1950 in Adria, a small town in northern Italy. He studied architecture at the University of Venice and began his career as an interior designer. In the 1970s, he began working for B&B Italia, where he created innovative, modern furniture that soon attracted worldwide attention.
