About this vintage design furniture

An outstanding and rare set of Spanish chairs designed by Borge Mogensen, manufactured by Fredericia Stolefabrik in Denmark around 1960. The chairs are made of oak and has a strong leather seat and backrest, giving them a comfortable seating experience and rustic appearance. The connections between the leather and the attachement to the frame is beautifuly done, as sign of great craftsmanship and perfectly finishing these impressive chairs. The Spanish Chair is Børge Mogensen’s interpretation of a traditional type of chair often found in areas influenced by ancient Islamic culture – from Andalusia to northern India. In a good original vintage condition. These iconic pieces of Danish design remain in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. Seating height: 33cm
