Over the years, Veranneman has gained international recognition for his designs, which have been exhibited in museums and galleries around the world. His designs are characterized by a minimalist, functionalist approach, with judicious use of materials such as wood, metal and leather.
In addition to his design career, Veranneman was also a passionate art collector and founded the De Zwarte Panter gallery in Antwerp, Belgium. He also worked as a teacher and trained many designers during his career.
