De Lucchi has worked with many prestigious brands and companies, including Artemide, Olivetti, Alias, Alessi and Kartell. He has designed a wide variety of products, including lighting fixtures, furniture, household objects and computer accessories.
In addition to his design career, de Lucchi is also active in architecture and has designed several buildings, including Florence's Santa Maria Novella train station and the clock tower in Arlon, Belgium.
He has received numerous awards for his work, including the Compasso d'Oro prize in 1989, 1991 and 1994. His designs are exhibited in museums around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris.
