Antonis quickly made a name for himself in the design world, working for prestigious brands such as Bulo, Jaga, Royal Botania, and Quinze & Milan. He is known for his minimalist, functional approach and his judicious use of natural materials such as wood and leather.
In 1994, Antonis co-founded the Omikron Design studio, which has won numerous international awards, including the Red Dot Design Award, the iF Design Award and the Good Design Award.
Over the years, Walter Antonis has also taught industrial design at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, and has been a jury member for numerous international design awards.
Today, Walter Antonis is considered one of Belgium's most talented and respected designers, and his work continues to inspire designers around the world.
