Lindberg studied at the Stockholm School of Applied Arts and began his design career working for Gustavsberg, a Swedish ceramics company, in 1937. He quickly became known for his innovative work in ceramics, producing modern, colorful designs that have won numerous awards and been exhibited worldwide.
Lindberg has also worked in other areas of design, including fabrics, wallpapers, furniture and lighting. He has worked for several major Swedish companies, including Nordiska Kompaniet and IKEA.
During his career, Lindberg received numerous awards for his design achievements, including the Grand Prix at the Milan Triennale in 1951. His designs are still highly prized today and are considered classics of Scandinavian design.
