Etienne Fermigier was born in France in 1932. He studied at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs and the renowned Ecole Boulle. He has worked for major companies such as Airborne, Arflex, Sentou, Meubles et Fonction, Disderot and Verre et Lumière. He also taught at the Camondo school.
