Agnoli

Tito Agnoli

He draws his inspiration from the Bauhaus and functional movements. He created numerous pieces of furniture for big names such as Arflex, Oluce, Montina, Lema and Cinova. The "Floor Lamp" and his "Rondo" sofas are timeless pieces with their sober, uncluttered lines. Biography Tito Agnoli was born into an Italian family in Lima, Peru, in 1931. He chose to study architecture in his native Milan. During his studies at the Faculty of Architecture, he met and worked as an assistant to Gio Ponti and Carlo De Carli. He soon went on to create numerous pieces for Italian publishers. He was nominated several times for the Compasso d'Oro (Italian prize). In 1986, he won the gold medal at NeoCon in Chicago. Some of his pieces can be admired at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
