Holm Sorensen

Svend Aage HOLM SORENSEN

In the 1960s, Sorensen worked for Danish lamp manufacturer Louis Poulsen, where he contributed to the creation of the famous AJ table lamp, designed in collaboration with architect Arne Jacobsen. The AJ lamp became a modern design classic and is still produced today.

In the 1970s and 1980s, Sorensen worked as a freelance designer for brands such as Fritz Hansen and Georg Jensen. He created furniture, lighting and interior design objects that reflected his preference for simple, clean lines.

Holm Sorensen died in 2004, leaving behind a legacy of timeless modern design that continues to influence designers worldwide.
