During his career, Weisdorf worked for a number of design companies, including the Lyfa lamp company, for whom he designed the famous Konkylie lamp in 1964. This lamp was a great success and was mass-produced for many years.
Weisdorf also worked for other brands, such as Georg Jensen, Le Klint and Pandul, for whom he designed a variety of lighting fixtures and furniture. He was known for his innovative approach to design, which combined functionality and aesthetics in a harmonious way.
In addition to his work as a designer, Weisdorf also taught design at the Royal Danish School of Fine Arts and was a jury member for numerous design competitions. He received numerous awards for his work, including the prestigious Lunning Foundation Design Prize in 1967. Today, his creations are considered classics of Danish design.
