Over the years, the company has worked with many renowned designers and architects, including Jindřich Halabala, who designed some of their most popular furniture in the 1930s. Holešov's furniture was recognized for its quality, aesthetics and durability, and won numerous awards at international exhibitions.
During the Communist period in Czechoslovakia, the company was nationalized and renamed Dřevopodnik Holešov, but continued to produce high-quality furniture for local and foreign markets. After the fall of communism in 1989, the company was privatized and is now one of the largest furniture manufacturers in the Czech Republic.
The design of Holešov (Dřevopodnik) furniture is characterized by a combination of modern aesthetics and traditional production techniques, making it an internationally recognized brand.
