After studying industrial design at the Munich School of Arts and Crafts, Hans von Klier worked as a freelance designer for various companies, including the furniture brand Lübke.
In the 1970s and 1980s, he collaborated with the German company Thonet, for whom he designed a series of chrome-plated steel and leather furniture pieces that have become icons of modern design.
Throughout his career, Hans von Klier won numerous awards and distinctions for his innovative and elegant creations. He died in 2000, leaving behind him an important legacy in the world of design.
