In 1974, Hansen began working for Danish lamp manufacturer Le Klint, where he developed several innovative lamp designs. He is best known for his Carronade suspension lamp, inspired by naval cannons.
Hansen has also worked as a design consultant for other companies, including Bang & Olufsen and Grundfos. He has won several prestigious awards for his work, including Denmark's ID Prize in 1977 and Chicago's Good Design Award in 2012.
Throughout his career, Andreas Hansen has made a significant contribution to Danish design and left an important legacy in the field of lighting and furniture.
