Over the course of his career, Hans Due created numerous design objects, including furniture, lighting and home accessories. He was known for his minimalist, functional approach, often using natural materials such as wood and leather.
One of his most famous creations is the PH5 pendant lamp, designed in 1958 for the Louis Poulsen company. This lamp is still produced today and is considered a classic of Danish design.
Hans Due has won numerous awards throughout his career, including the City of Copenhagen Design Award in 1977 and the prestigious Lunning Foundation Industrial Design Award in 1982. Today, his work can be found in many design museum collections around the world.
