Ferdinand SOLERE

Solere began his career as a graphic designer, working for renowned advertising agencies in Paris. He quickly gained a reputation for his distinctive, innovative style, which combined elements of the modernist movement with traditional motifs.

In the 1930s, Solere began working in ceramics and glass, creating pieces that were both functional and decorative. He worked with renowned companies such as the Manufacture de Sèvres and the Baccarat crystal works, and his creations were exhibited at international art fairs.

During his career, Solere also worked as a professor of industrial design at the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs in Paris, where he influenced a whole generation of designers. His creations were acclaimed for their combination of functionality and beauty, and his work had a lasting influence on twentieth-century French design.
