Edvard KINDT-LARSEN

In 1929, Edvard Kindt-Larsen began collaborating with his wife, Danish architect and designer Tove Kindt-Larsen. Together, they created a wide variety of furniture and decorative objects, often using natural materials such as wood, rattan and leather.

The Kindt-Larsens worked for many design companies, including Fritz Hansen, Gustav Bertelsen and Søren Willadsen. They also exhibited their work at international fairs, such as the Milan Triennale in 1951.

Their work was characterized by elegant simplicity, clean lines and meticulous attention to detail. They were influenced by modernist and functionalist styles, but also incorporated elements of traditional Danish craftsmanship.

Edvard Kindt-Larsen died on February 12, 1982 in Copenhagen, leaving behind him an important legacy in the world of Danish design.
