About this vintage design furniture
L’atelier Brazil set of six dining chairs by Jorge Zalszupin ( Warsaw, 1922). Produced circa 1955. Brazilian wood jacaranda and leather. These are also featured in the book about Jorge Zalszupin and Modern Design in Brazil. Very collectible set which can even be considered a good alternative investment.

About the designer
Jorge Zalszupin
Jorge Zalszupin was a Brazilian designer of Polish origin, born in Warsaw in 1922 and died in São Paulo in 2020. After fleeing Poland with his family during the Second World War, he lived in Romania, France and Argentina before settling permanently in Brazil in 1949.
