About this vintage design furniture
Vintage pendant light "Tivoli" by Jørn Utzon for Nordisk Solar. This particular one was made in the late 1970s and ids in good condition apart from one small mark in the lacquer on the middle ring as seen in the last photo. The Tivoli pendant is designed by Danish architect Jørn Utzon and produced by Nordisk Solar Compagni. Utzon is also the architect behind the Sidney Opera House.

Jørn Utzon was a Danish architect and designer, born on April 9, 1918 in Aalborg, Denmark, and died on November 29, 2008 in Copenhagen. Utzon is best known for his design of the Sydney Opera House in Australia.
