About this vintage design furniture
Superb blue and brass lacquered vintage console by Jean Claude Mahey, published by Maison Romeo in the 70's. The drawers open and close with a push-button system. One of the most beautiful pieces of Jean Claude Mahey, very chic and really very decorative. The blue lacquer is in perfect condition, no scratches or shocks. The brasses have been cleaned and refinished.

About the designer
Jean-Claude MAHEY
Mahey is a French designer born in Paris in 1937. He studied at the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs in Paris and began his career working for designer Jacques Adnet. He then opened his own design studio in 1968.
