About this vintage design furniture
This an original three piece suite -model FD123- designed by Orla Molgaard-Nielsen in the 1940’s and produced by France and Daverkosen, Denmark. With original sprung cushions and a greenyellow plush top fabric. The frames are made from solid beech and have been restained and refinished to bring them back to life. Low back lounge chairs (66cm x 70cm 85cm) and two seat sofa (135cm x 70cm 85cm)

Peter HVIDT & Orla MOLGAARD NIELSEN
Hvidt & Mølgaard Nielsen is a mid-20th-century Danish design duo consisting of Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard Nielsen. Peter Hvidt was born in Copenhagen in 1916 and studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts before working as a designer for various companies. Orla Mølgaard Nielsen was born in Copenhagen in 1907 and also studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, before working as an architect and designer.
