Rare and early model ‘Madame’ Lounge chair by Fritz Neth for Correcta, Germany – 1950’s. The chair is covered in a black pluche fabric and very comfortable to sit in. Size seat height 43 Material: Black laqcuered metal legs Black (very dark brown) fabric Condition: Fair Signs of use and age The chair has beautiful aged character but will also look gorgeous when refurbished

About the designer
Fritz NETH
Fritz Neth was a German mathematician born in Stuttgart on August 7, 1932 and died in Tübingen on January 6, 2004. He studied mathematics and physics at the University of Tübingen, where he obtained his doctorate in 1958 under the supervision of Hans Rohrbach. He then pursued post-doctoral studies at Princeton University.
