About this vintage design furniture
In the early 60s, Raak produced this pendant in 3 different sizes, named according to the logic of their striking design. The shape of the pendant -familiar yet so iconic- refers to the essence and source of electric light: the incandescent light bulb, invented by Thomas Edison in 1879. The Maxi Bulb seems to act as a protective transparent womb, enhancing the iconic shape of the bulb inside.
