About this vintage design furniture
This pair of Danish rosewood cabinets was designed by Ib Kofod Larsen for Faarup Mobelfabrik, in Denmark during the 1960s. Each cabinet has a double door with glass inset doors, opening to glass shelves. The upper part is set on a deeper base that has two large drawers. The original labels from manufacturers are on the backs of these cabinets.

About the designer
Kofod LARSEN
Kofod Larsen was a Danish furniture designer born in 1921 and died in 1991. He began his career as an apprentice cabinetmaker and later studied at the Copenhagen School of Arts and Crafts. He worked for several renowned design companies in Europe before founding his own design firm in 1950.
