About this vintage design furniture
Midgard accordion wall lamp from 1960. It spreads up to 95 cm. The lamp has been repainted in matt black, the interior of the lampshade is unpainted aluminum. E27 socket. Forerunners of the legendary Gras lamps, the Midgard lamps designed by Curt Fisher appear at the beginning of 1920s and are acclaimed by the Bauhaus school which equips its workshops.

About the designer
Curt FISCHER
Curt Fischer (1890-1956) was a German industrial designer known for his work in the 1920s and 1930s. He studied at the Dresden School of Arts and Crafts and worked for various design companies, including the famous Meissen porcelain company.
