About this vintage design furniture
Large, elegant 70s-design open shelf by Pierre Vandel.
This "Hollywood Regency" model features a black lacquered aluminum structure and three thick, slightly smoked glass shelves.
Golden brass edging highlights the structure's pleasing shape. The trays are removable.
This shelf with its angular corners evokes the glamorous yet minimalist aesthetic that dominated furniture design in the 70s. It was created at the time of Pierre Vandel's collaboration with Pierre Cardin. At the time, this expensive furniture was perfectly suited to the design enthusiasts of French high society. It was then exported to New York, London, Melbourne and Tokyo.
The well-defined lines of this shelf would be perfect for displaying studio pottery or art glass, etc.
It is in very good condition.
Dimensions: length 90 cm, height 96.5 cm, depth 37 cm, 1st shelf at 50 cm
