About this vintage design furniture
Scandinavian double chest of drawers by designer Carlo Jensen, published by Poul Hundevad and his company Hundevad et Co.
An attractive piece of light oak mid-century modern furniture from the 1960s, featuring two rows of four drawers.
It stands on four oak legs.
Superb grain and patina.
Dovetail drawer assembly.
Slight marks on the top and side, visible in photos.
Manufacturer's stamp on the back and Danish Control stamp on the side of one drawer.

About the designer
Carlo JENSEN
1912 - 1989Carlo Jensen was a Danish industrial designer who was born in 1913 and died in 2001. He studied at the Copenhagen School of Architecture and began his career as a furniture designer. He worked for companies such as Fritz Hansen and designed iconic chairs and tables.
