About this vintage design furniture
Vietnamese folding side table, from the 1950s. This folding coffee table/tea table consists of two parts consisting of a solid wood base carved with dragons and bamboo. The top is a bronze patinated brass. Richly decorated, with scenes from village life: a fisherman, two farmers, one with his buffalo, a European/settler (recognizable by his colonial helmet and clothing, probably an officer), dragon in the middle and bats all around, flowers and symbols. Former French Indochina (Vietnam).
