With an oval profile, curved shapes and bulbous appearance, this tureen stands on four small legs that make up its base. Two small handles protrude from the short sides, shaped like a vegetable, as does the handle on the lid, which simulates being a fruit. It has an exquisite yellow color and is finely decorated with hand-picked flowers in blue and mauve tones. The other color present is green, which harmonizes perfectly with the yellow of the background, designed and patented by André Philip, a style now known as Old Montpellier.
