About this vintage design furniture

Restored Bauhaus Armchair by Mücke - Melder Source: Czechia (Czehoslovakia) Period: 1930-1939 Material: Upholstery, Chrome-Plated Steel, Beech Made by Mücke Melder, an influential modernist furniture manufacturer that specialized in tubular steel designs. A popular type of Mücke-Melder spring chair (type Fn 24) in a rarely seen elevated version. Newly professionally upholstered with the help of spring binding in high-quality genuine Italian leather. Professionally cleaned chrome. Lacquered beech wood armrests. A very comfortable chair, which, thanks to its good ergonomics, is suitable for long-term sitting while drinking coffee or reading books. The chrome parts have been cleaned and professionally restored. This item features classic Bauhaus design elements. Elements of this style are neutral colors and occasional bright primary colors. Bauhaus designers avoided the fussy and pretentious, looking for clean, modern lines instead. Perfect for a timeless yet modern look. Reference : 307803
