About this vintage design furniture
The very comfortable and popular armchair was designed by the architect Jan Vaněk in the early period of his work.
The traditional spring upholstery is original, well-preserved and unseated. The cover fabric designed by Professor Antonín Kybal is original and has been professionally cleaned.
This item features classic Art Deco elements. Art Deco is a style that originated in France in the early 20th century. Its furniture designs are meticulously crafted, usually using exotic woods. About the designer
Jan VANEK
Jan Vanek was a Czech industrial designer born in Prague in 1940 and died in 2011. He studied at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, graduating in 1964.
