The very comfortable and popular armchair was designed by the architect Jan Vaněk in the early period of his work. The traditional spring upholstery is original, well-preserved and unseated. The cover fabric designed by Professor Antonín Kybal is original and has been professionally cleaned. This item features classic Art Deco elements. Art Deco is a style that originated in France in the early 20th century. Its furniture designs are meticulously crafted, usually using exotic woods. About the designer

Jan VANEK

Jan Vanek was a Czech industrial designer born in Prague in 1940 and died in 2011. He studied at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, graduating in 1964.
