Pair of vintage armchairs in solid beech wood, France

Mid-century French armchair made of solid beech wood, both in its structure and in its legs. The design is inevitably reminiscent of pieces by Besnard, Paulin or Guariche from the second half of the 20th century. With excellent ergonomics, its profile highlights the elaborate design of its armrests that give great visual power to the piece. It is reupholstered in mustard bouclé from the Spanish firm Linum, which subtly contrasts with the bright tone of the solid beech wood legs. As an additional note, the seat height is 44 cm. After its restoration, it is in a very good state of conservation, both visually and structurally. The legs, polished and finished with colorless oil-wax, have some visible stains consistent with the age of the piece. Reference : 307552
