Vintage swivel chair No. 976 by Geoffrey Harcourt for Artifort, Netherlands 1968

About this vintage design furniture
Very decorative chair designed in 1968 by Geoffrey Harcourt for the Dutch company Artifort.
The fiberglass shell (1st edition?) is still in a very good and original condition. There is only a little wear on the base at the floor, with leather cushions that are in very good condition. The swivel joint is sturdy and turns smoothly. My guess is that the chair has hardly been used.
Harcourt’s motto was: “First the person and then the shape”, resulting in a seemingly small chair that nevertheless provides enormous support and is very comfortable to sit in.
