Vintage Nova aluminum pendant lamp by Jo Hammerborg for Fog and Mørup, Denmark 1963

Aluminum Nova lamp designed by Jo Hammerborg from 1963. When lit, the lamp provides a soft, glare-free downward feel, making it ideal for low hanging applications, while the glossy surface captures and reflects the contours of the surrounding space. One of several themes that ran through Jo Hammerborg's work at Fog and Mørup in the 1960s was that lamps were often made from three different metals - copper, brass and aluminum. Dimensions: diameter: 41cm height: 18cm The lamp is in average condition, there are scratches and defects in the paint. No dents. The lamp has been thoroughly cleaned and the cable has been replaced with a new, braided one. The lamp comes with a new metal canopy. The lamps are shipped from Denmark.
