About this vintage design furniture

This large Art Deco vase in black opaline glass is a creation by the Russian artist Anatole Riecke, signed and dated 1951. Master glassmaker of La Coupole, in Paris, he is at the origin of the emblematic Art Deco decor of this a high place in Paris during the 1930s. His very fine work with glass is manifested here with a cubist influence in the abstract patterns which contrast the very smooth surface of the black opaline. Chic and timeless, this vase will go well with both old and contemporary. This piece is in a superb state of conservation. Signed A.Riecke and dated 51. Reference : 305888
