Vintage rosewood desk by Severin Hansen for Haslev, Denmark 1960

Beautiful desk designed by Severin Hansen and produced by Haslev in Denmark in the early 1960s. This piece is one of the most emblematic desks of the Mid-Century Modern period ever designed, along with the one by Bodil Kjaer. It features four integrated drawers, with brass lock escutcheons and their four original brass keys. The design of this desk is both minimalist and elegant, with angular details, tapered legs, and a superb spacious varnished rosewood top, with plenty of space for writing, drawing and working. It has been fully restored and pad varnished, and is in perfect condition. Reference : 304904
