Pair of vintage Art Deco bedside tables in solid oak wood, Czechoslovakia 1940

Beautiful set of two bedside tables. Produced in art deco era in Czechoslovakia. The tables look amazing with the most elegant shape. Beautiful seamless curves shape these tables. Especially because there are hidden door handles on the side of the doors. The tables are made of solid oak wood. The wood decor is not vener, but painted on the wood and finished with a varnish. This is original finish and we only touched up a few pieces which showed some wear. This was an original method of decorating when wood was not available in beautiful veneers. The finish still looks amazing and shows only minor wear. Beautiful set. Reference : 304488
