Vintage Art Deco console in rosewood veneer, 1930

This Art Deco-style middle console features a long, rectangular rosewood top composed of twelve small panels in alternating horizontal and vertical veneers. The waist features a drawer with a recessed front, fitted with a chrome-plated ball knob and surrounded by moldings. The whole unit rests on an arched base, also veneered in rosewood, joined by three chrome tubes acting as spacers.
