About this vintage design furniture
Hans-Agne Jakobsson for Hans-Agne Jakobsson AB in Markaryd, wall lights ‘Tratten’, copper, Sweden, 1950s. Hans-Agne Jakobsson designed this wall light ‘Tratten’, which is crafted from green copper. The conical-shaped shade is secured to a slightly curved mounting arm. This is for the less common, but fully authentic model with rectangular wall mount and slightly wider hood. Over time, the copper has acquired patina, enhancing it’s genuine appearance. Jakobsson originally designed the ‘Tratten’copper wall lights for outdoor use, but they make a great addition for an indoor environment too.
Patinated copper, height 19 cm, from wall 30 cm. Electrical function checked.
