Set of 4 vintage black leather dining chairs

Afra and Tobia Scarpa attributed Pair of Dining Chairs in Black Leather This pair of dining chairs shows strong resemblance to two designs of famous Italian designers Afra and Tobia Scarpa: the 'Monk' chairs (1974) and the 'Dialogo' chairs (1970s) who also have very similar ectangular frames angular backrests. This set of four dining chairs with black leather rests on two frames with the characteristic connections like the 'Monk' chairs. The walnut frame shows the black metal joints like a decorative aspect. The two vertical flat legs are connected on top and on the bottom with two circular pieces. Backrest and seat are made of black saddle leather that show age related signs of wear and rich patina. The edges of the seats and backrests have some small damages due to wear.
