About this vintage design furniture

Diplomat table lamp sometimes called Z-lamp designed by Louis Kalff for Philips in 1963. Louis Kalff was an architect and designer and also designed the UFO-shaped Evoluon in 1964. Louis Kalff was also responsible for the aesthetic design of new products at Philips. For decades, every new product was “calffed” before it hit the market. This space age table lamp is still in good original condition with slight signs of wear due to age and use (see photos). The black lacquer is still original and still looks good. The lamp has a normal socket (E27) and the wiring has been checked by an electrician. Color: black and gold color. Material: metal, aluminum and brass. Dimensions: h x w x d = 45 x 33 x 33 cm. Marked: Philips. Reference : 301550
