About this vintage design furniture

The bookcase was made in the 1960s, designed by the famous designer Bertil Fridhagen for the Swedish manufactory Bodafors. The structure is covered with teak veneer. Legs made of solid wood stained black. Surface refreshed. Inside, the space has been filled with practical shelves with height adjustment. The bookcase is ideal for a large collection of books or collectibles to be arranged in a small living space. Another advantage is the universal bar. Inside the bar there is an additional insert with drawers and a compartment. The lock works, key included. The furniture has an opening in the back wall of the bar for cables. Condition: The surface of the furniture after refreshing. Minor scratches and marks are visible. Larger signs of use are always presented in the photos. The product is ready to use. *For safety reasons, the furniture may have its legs unscrewed and shelves pulled out for transportation. Assembly should not be a problem. About the designer

Bertil FRIDHAGEN

Bertil FRIDHAGEN was a Swedish industrial designer who was born in 1933 and died in 2003. He studied at the Stockholm School of Arts and Crafts and began his career in the 1950s working for various Swedish companies.
