About this vintage design furniture
Oblong coffee table from the workshop of Roger Capron (1922-2006).
A ceramist of undisputed renown, Capron surrounded himself with the best names in the profession at his workshop in Vallauris, in the Alpes-Maritimes region of France.
This coffee table features 29 tiles, 17 in glazed ceramic and 12 in stoneware with carbonized plant imprints.
One of the latter bears traces of the artist's stamp, which originally read: Capron Vallauris France.
The edge of the top is lightly molded with striations.
These elements stand on four straight legs.
We love the vintage, autumnal style of this Capron creation, which will blend naturally with many interiors.
