About this vintage design furniture
These design classics from the 50s, with the typical aluminum frame and black wood, are in good condition. The folding wooden seats and backrests have a beautiful appearance and show only minimal signs of wear. One of the chairs has abrasion of the paint on the seat. Thanks to their innovative shape, these chairs can be easily placed one inside the other to save space and offer very good seating comfort.
Designed by German designer Armin Wirth for Ph. Zieringer KG, these chairs have long been a timeless classic that combines design and practicality.

About the designer
Armin WIRTH
1903 - 1992Armin Wirth is a Swiss industrial designer born in 1940. He studied at the Zurich School of Applied Arts, graduating in 1964. After completing his studies, he worked for various design offices before founding his own design studio in 1968.
