About this vintage design furniture

A classic Danish mid-century drop-leaf dining table produced by Bernhard Pedersen and Søn, in the 1970s validated by the original label. It features a clean, minimalist design that captures the essence of the Danish modern aesthetic. The tabletop is veneered in oak, tapered solid oak legs are detachable and provide more convenient transport. This vintage table features two semi-circular side drop leaves that can fold down detavhed. The table is comfortable for four people when is extended. The table is in origianal condition with minor traces of use and some marks on the top (visible in photos). About the designer

Aage PEDERSEN

Aage Pedersen was a Danish designer born in 1906 and died in 1983. He studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts before beginning his career as an industrial designer in the 1930s. He worked for several Danish companies, including the Danish furniture company Fritz Hansen, where he designed many popular pieces of furniture in the 1950s and 1960s.
