About this vintage design furniture
A “Faro” table lamp, designed by Harvey Guzzini and manufactured by Guzzini in Italy around 1970.
This elegant lamp features a tubular chrome plated metal base, holding an orange semi circle plexiglass shade. It creates a wonderful contrast and modern appeal to the lamp. When lit, it emits a lovely warm light that is nicely diffused through the orange shade. The “Faro” is an iconic piece of mid-century lighting that will definitely be a valuable addition to the interior!
The piece remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.

About the designer
Harvey GUZZINI
Harvey Guzzini (1929-1996) was an Italian designer best known for founding the "Harvey Guzzini" lighting company in 1958, with his brother Giulio Guzzini. Harvey Guzzini studied architecture in Rome before concentrating on industrial design.
