About this vintage design furniture
Viennese Secessionist 'Fledermaus' table in white, originally designed in 1905 for the Viennese Fledermaus Cabaret by Josef Hoffmann and manufactured by Wittmann. The piece has a Secessionist style textile inlay underneath the circular glass top and a brass band running around the base. In great condition with age-appropriate wear.

About the designer
Josef HOFFMANN
1870 - 1956Josef Hoffmann (1870-1956) was an Austrian designer and architect. He was born in Pirnitz in Moravia, now in the Czech Republic, and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna.
