Size of work 53/77 The work is framed Jürgen Von Konow (1915 - 1959) was a Swedish painter and graphic artist. He studied in Stockholm and Paris. In 1958, Von Konow published his own textbook on Swedish graphic design techniques, Om Graphic: Historia och Teknik (Graphic Design: History and Technology). His book made an important contribution to the teaching of graphic design in Sweden. His first exhibition took place in Stockholm in 1938 at the Galleri Gummesons. Konow's work can be found in numerous public collections, including Stockholm's National Museum, Stockholm's Moderna Museet and Waldemarsudde, Vänersborg Museum, Gothenburg Art Museum, Stockholm City Museum, Norrköping Art Museum, Linköping Museum, Oslo National Gallery, KODE: Bergen Art Museum, Helsinki's Ateneumin and Amsterdam's Rijksmuseum. Konow died tragically on June 10, 1959 in a car accident in Växjö, aged just 44. The work is in its original state. Reference : 297139
