About this vintage design furniture
Paul Kingma coffee table designed and made in 1995. The top of this handmade natural stone coffee table features a fossil (ammonite) as well as some blue gemstones. The condition is still very good with minimal signs of use. The two black legs are made of metal and the top is made of natural stone (slate) in different colours, gemstones, brass and a fossil inlaid in concrete. Dimensions: h x w x d = 33 x 71 x 116 cm. Marked Paul Kingma 1995 (see photos). The playful combination of materials creates a mosaic artwork, as it were.

1931 - 2013Paul Kingma (1931-2015) was a Dutch designer known for his modern, functional furniture in wood and metal. He studied at the Rotterdam Academy of Fine Arts and worked for renowned design companies such as Artifort and Spectrum.
