Pair of vintage teak nightstands, Denmark 1970

A set of two mid-century teak nightstands from the late 1970s or early 1980s will enrich any bedroom with the Scandinavian design. Each nightstand features one open shelf and a drawer with a sculptural solid teak handle. These vintage side tables are made of teak veneer with solid wood details, as drawer handles and tapered end legs, enhancing their Scandinavian origin. The legs are detachable for more convenient transport. The interiors of the drawers were replaced with new ones propably by the previous owner. The material used to carve them indicates the present times, although the external construction clearly dates from the 1970s. The nightstands have been checked by our team. We have made sure that they are stable and that the drawers work smoothly. The wood has been cleaned and refinished with layers of Danish oil. We leave minor signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm it is originality. We try to bring furniture back to its best look, still considering they are 60 years old.
